Netflix has renewed ‘Nobody Wants This’ for a third season, scheduled to air sometime in 2026.

News of the series’ renewal dropped on social media, with a video of series star Kristen Bell telling co-stars Adam Brody, Timothy Simons, Jackie Tohn and Justine Lupe on individual FaceTime calls that they were coming back for Season 3.

Series’ creator Erin Foster tells Netflix: “I couldn’t be more excited to head into a third season of this show. It is a privilege to be able to write about my favorite couple on a scale like this. As long as it doesn’t take too much time away from me watching reality TV at night, I’ll do it for as long as they want me to!”

Showrunners Jenni Konner and Bruce Eric Kaplan added: “We are so grateful to Netflix and 20th for giving us another season of ‘Nobody Wants This.’ This job is criminally fun. Working with the uniquely gifted Erin Foster, this unbelievable cast of talented, hilarious pros, amazing writers, and incredible crew has been a truly great experience.”

The rom-com, which is loosely based on Foster’s life, stars Adam Brody as a rabbi who falls in love with Joanne (Bell), who is an agnostic sex podcaster. In season two, viewers watched Joanne and Noah months into their relationship and getting more serious after they committed to each other. Season 2 guest stars included Leighton Meester (Brody’s real-life wife),  Seth Rogen, Arian Moayed, Miles Fowler, Alex Karpovsky, and Kate Berlant.

A premiere date for Season 3 of Nobody Wants This has not yet been set.
